Somewhere in the mid 60s a long time respected MAINE
promoter Bobby Selberg used my band to "warm up" for a number of his
concert promotions. During this time we warmed-up for The Young Rascals, The
Dave Clark Five, The McCoys and The Cyrkle. "Our billing" is listed
in the flyer below,
"Also other great attractions". They were great times when warm-up bands
were able to get exposure and some of them grew up in their own right.
Approximately
33 years later in Reno Nevada, Felix Cavaliere's Rascals played
the 18th annual Hot August Nights event, he signed an original 1966
flyer for me and we took a photo. A group of photos from this show will be
